Sonu, Monu, and the Importance of Brushing Teeth

Image
Sonu, Monu, and the Importance of Brushing Teeth It was a lovely morning. As always, Sonu and Monu got up late and started playing with their toys. Mummy’s Warning Mummy:  “Sonu, Monu, first go and brush your teeth, then eat breakfast. After that, you can play as much as you like.” But Sonu and Monu ignored their mother. Sonu:  “What will happen if we don’t brush for just one day?” Mummy (angrily):  “Go and brush your teeth! Did you both hear me?” Hearing their mummy’s loud voice, Sonu and Monu quickly got up, brushed their teeth, ate breakfast, and then went outside to play. Skipping Brushing at Night That night, after dinner, Sonu and Monu ate ice cream and chocolates. When mummy reminded them to brush their teeth before bed, they didn’t listen and went to sleep without brushing. Grandma saw everything and thought,  I must teach them a lesson—but in my own way! Grandma’s Clever Plan The next morning, Grandma prepared breakfast for both kids. Grandma:  “Sonu, M...

Sonu, Monu, and Grandma – Story No. 4 It was summer vacation, and Sonu and Monu had holidays. During these holidays, they spent all their time watching TV and playing video games, day and night. Whenever their mummy asked them to do their work, they would say,  “We will do it later. Right now, we are watching TV.” One day, their mummy told them to clean up the mess they had made, but as always, they ignored her. Sonu and Monu had become too lazy to do their chores. Grandma, who was at home, saw everything and decided to teach them a lesson. The next morning, when both kids woke up, they brushed their teeth and were ready to eat breakfast. They sat at the dining table, waiting, but nobody came to serve them food. They went to check the kitchen, but their mummy wasn’t there. Sonu and Monu became grumpy. Sonu and Monu:  “Mummy, where is breakfast? We are hungry!” Grandma:  “Mummy will cook later. Right now, she is watching TV. If you’re hungry, go and eat something from the ...

Sonu, Monu, and the Ringing Doorbell One afternoon, Sonu and Monu were in a playful mood and decided to have some fun by pranking others. When everyone was taking their afternoon nap, they quietly sneaked outside and rang the doorbell of their neighbor’s house before running away. The neighbor opened the door, but to her surprise, no one was there. She looked around and then shut the door. Giggling, Sonu and Monu repeated the prank. But this time, the neighbor got angry. She opened the door and shouted, “Who is doing this mischief?” She banged the door shut in frustration and went back inside. “What fun!” Sonu laughed. Little did they know, Grandma had been watching them all along. Instead of scolding them, she decided to teach them a lesson in her own way. A Lesson from Grandma The next day, Grandma told Sonu and Monu, “I am going out to buy some things, and your mother is also not home. Remember, do not open the door for strangers.” Saying this, she left. Sonu and Monu sat down...

Sonu, Monu, and the Tempting Canteen Food

Sonu, Monu, and the Tempting Canteen Food One day, after coming home from school, Sonu and Monu said to their mother,  “Mummy, don’t give us tiffin tomorrow. We want to eat in the school canteen!” Mother shook her head and said,  “Outside food is not healthy. It can cause stomach problems like loose motions. It’s not good for your health.” But Sonu and Monu pouted.  “We don’t care! We want to eat canteen food. Nothing will happen to us!” Despite their protests, their mother packed their tiffin for the next day. Sonu and Monu were upset but still took the tiffin and went to school. Temptation at School During the lunch break, Sonu and Monu opened their tiffin. But as they looked around, they saw their classmates enjoying food from the canteen—hot samosas, crispy fries, and colorful sweets. Suddenly, their homemade food didn’t seem so exciting. Both of them thought for a while, then closed their tiffin without eating and brought it back home. When Grandma opened their lunch...
